The Best Reward

I've finished a big job being asked by somebody very important.  I spent so many hours to complete and I finished it by 3:00 p.m. yesterday.    Because I needed to send out the mail by evening to make sure the mail to reach that person on the next day,  I went to Lihue Post Office to post it.

Then from 6:00 p.m. I went to participate in the workshop of  "Let's Bon Dance" at Hanapepe.  This was a volunteer and no Ofuse, but I felt it was rewarded more than anything.

I was very happy that I had a chance to talk about meaning of "O-Bon" which was well-received.  The best thing  was, there were one lady who later came to me and kindly said, "Your website is also very interesting."    Then there was another lady who came to me to praise my explanations.  She also asked about the service information and the location of the temple in detail.   I didn't know both of them, but I was able to confirm.....If I go out of the temple to volunteer positively to the community, I could see some potential Buddhists.  In fact, I was able to meet new friends, especially the best Dharma friends at Lawai where I was happy to volunteer.

I do believe she is coming to the Sunday Service, but I won't be disappointed even if no one come to the service.  If they don't come here, I will go out of the temple.  I know Buddhists are in the community.
