Gokigen Song

"I made it!"

I shouted naturally when I finished uploading this "Gokigen Song" with English translation.

Six hours have passed since I started to add subtitles and it's now 2:45 a.m.  It actually took me much more time because my PC was "frozen" when I was about to complete 99%.

I regretted I didn't save it, but now, I think this trouble made me more happy...and it made me shout,

"I made it!"

I beleive nobody like troubles.   But it is "trouble" that can make people feel more happy....than people without trouble.

This is just like a part of lyrics in this song.

"Hop, slip and fall (=trouble), and then jump (=be happy)."

By the way, I do hope you won't be disappointed to know the meanings of the Bon Dance Songs.  There are many utterly nonsensical meanings because writers of the song stick to rhym.  I think sound is ultimately more important than its meaning for the song writer.

I just watched the whole thing and the lyrics are very amusing, but still overall it's very uplifting and matches the music and mood! Thank you again for not making us wait one year. Susan Metivier posted it on her Facebook page!
