For me, photography is just like meditation since taking a picture is taking a moment of "now." I cannot take the moment of "past." I cannot take pictures of the future. All I can do is to take a present moment.
While taking a picture, I can feel totally I am nothing. The object and I can become one at the very moment of taking pictures. So, I'm calling this meditation as "Photo-Meditation."
So hundreds of hours I spent at the shores for taking pictures of humpback whale were not waste but was practicing of meditation. Now I think I am satisfied with my practicing of photo-meditation. I'm going to spend my energy for outputting what I learned there.
